New line in Sussex Trugs

Now stocking a new shape in Sussex Trugs made in Herstmonceux by hand. They come in 3 sizes - no 1, 4 & 5 Sizes. The rims and handles are steam-bent around formers using sweet chestnut, and he uses cricket bat willow for the boards.Trugs have been made traditionally in the Parish of Herstmonceux, for the last 160 years, but are now becoming scarce. Sadly our previous supplier for modern Sussex Trugs has retired and we have only a few left. If you would like to reserve one of these for Christmas please get in touch as soon as possible so we can put this aside.

What people say about us

Thanks again for the wonderful Trug and everything  that came with it. It was the perfect anniversary gift and it arrived on time.  I was particularly impressed by the communication, this is a level of customer service that is sadly lacking these days.

I just wanted to say how much my sister loved her hamper especially the Trug which she cannot wait to use in the garden.

Many thanks for all your help

Jenny
