New line in Sussex Trugs

Now stocking a new shape in Sussex Trugs made in Herstmonceux by hand. They come in 3 sizes - no 1, 4 & 5 Sizes. The rims and handles are steam-bent around formers using sweet chestnut, and he uses cricket bat willow for the boards.Trugs have been made traditionally in the Parish of Herstmonceux, for the last 160 years, but are now becoming scarce. Sadly our previous supplier for modern Sussex Trugs has retired and we have only a few left. If you would like to reserve one of these for Christmas please get in touch as soon as possible so we can put this aside.
